The Amsterdam Process Safety Seminar Series
Recent accidents such as the major explosions in Texas City (USA) and in Buncefield (UK) have shown that managing process safety is essential for operating a facility. Low average incident rates are not enough: control of process operations must be demonstrated.

This seminar series provides you with an understanding of the elements that are necessary for managing process safety in your organization. You will gain an understanding of why they are necessary, be able to choose among the various available tools, and find out how best to implement them in your organization. Top speakers from industry will enable you to leave the seminar empowered with what you need to make a change in your company.

Our goal is to organize these seminars twice a year, and cover varying themes centred around process safety. Enrolment fees are affordable because the seminars will be organized by a group of volunteer HSE professionals backed by AEL, a Finnish non-profit technical training organization.

The seminar series is endorsed by the European Process Safety Centre (EPSC) and the Dutch Association for Safety Science (NVVK).

Formation qualifiante Sécurité Fonctionnelle

IR & IS propose une formation qualifiante et accréditée par le TÜV SUD sur le thème de la Sécurité Fonctionnelle. Cette formation s’adresse aux ingénieurs et à tous les professionnels qui travaillent avec des Systèmes instrumentés de sécurité (SIS).

L’intention du cours de formation est de traiter les différents aspects de la sécurité fonctionnelle comme présentés dans les normes internationales CEI 61508 et CEI 61511.

La formation est suivie d’un examen des connaissances. Si les critères sont de l’examen sont atteints un certificat TÜV FS Professional est remis au participant.

TUV FUNCTIONAL SAFETY CERTIFICATION COURSE
Functional Safety for SIS Professionals and Engineers.
This course focuses on functional safety aspects for the process, oil & gas, and chemical industries according to IEC 61508 / 61511 standards.

Objective
The main objective of this course is to give engineers involved in safety instrumented systems the opportunity to learn about functional safety, current applicable safety standards and their requirements. A second objective is to give all who attend the course the opportunity to certify their functional safety knowledge through an exam.

Certification takes place in cooperation with TÜV SUD.
