IEC 61508 – SIPI workshop in Stresa, Italy, September 2003 Inprotec, has been selected as the Technical Liaison Group in Italy for the SIPI (Safety In Process Industry) project. The European Commission has sanctioned the SIPI project to develop a set of guidelines for the implementation of IEC 61508. Inprotec is organizing a workshop aimed at the greater acquaintance, spread and use of the IEC 61508 standards in Italy. The workshop venue is Stresa on the shore of Lago Maggiore in Italy, and will be conducted October 16th and 17th 2003. Please visit the SIPI website to find out more.
